SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm-1:00am (2nd Shift- Full Time)
COMPENSATION: $20-$23/hour

Job Description:
The Quality Control Tester will conduct testing and inspection activities in accordance with company procedures. Quality Control Tester will record and document results of testing activities and other necessary manufacturing processes. As required, the Quality Control Tester will support activities and duties related to the Quality Assistant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities as a Quality Control Tester:
- Test production and validation samples in accordance with test requirements. This includes, but is not limited to: tensile peel testing, visual inspection, burst testing, dimensional testing and color verification testing and evaluation
- Record test results in as directed in the written or electronic forms
- At the direction of the Validation Quality Engineer of Quality Assurance management, conduct and support manufacturing and validation production processes to create sample units
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities as a Quality Assistant:
- Complete all necessary traveler paperwork and testing required to ensure product and documentation are meeting requirements
- Review shop traveler for completeness and accuracy
- Performs First Article inspection and testing activities
- Performs In-Process inspection and testing activities
- Performs Final Inspections and testing activities
- Record testing results in hardcopy and/or electronic formats as required
- May oversee sorting/rework operations
- Label creation/inspection
- Checks and confirm machine parameters for correct settings
- May make recommendations to production on machine parameter
- Document machine parameters, manufacturing process and /or materials used in the job traveler
- Identifies issues with product and reports findings to appropriate personnel in production or quality department
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum two months of related experience, education and/or training is desired, but not required
- Basic understanding of the SteriPax Line Operator duties is desired, but not required
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- A basic understanding and ability to use a ruler, tape measure and/or caliper is desired, but not required
- Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred, but not required
- Experience with laboratory and/or cleanroom environment, equipment and safety procedures is desired, but not required
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Acute attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of quality control concepts and manufacturing processes is desired, but not required

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud (the production floor is considered a sustained loud manufacturing environment that requires hearing protection)
- The employee may occasionally lift and /or move more than 25 pounds / may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gowning, hair nets, beard covers, eye protection, hearing protection, and any other necessary PPE
