About Dexcom's Summer Intern Program: Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom's U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Internship Department Details: Department Name: Data Products Business Function: R&D Team Highlights: Develop innovative AI and Insights models and products Where you come in: You will design, develop, and test backend components for our Generative AI solutions using Python APIs. You will collaborate with the team to integrate these components with front-end interfaces. You will research and experiment with different prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of our AI platform infrastructure. You will create deep learning AI models and develop training methodologies What makes you successful: You have experience with Machine Learning in school or other experiences. You possess a basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering. You bring a strong work ethic, a passion for learning, and a collaborative spirit. Travel Required: 0-5% Experience and Education Requirements: Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent. Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later. Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $27.00 to $29.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand. Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
