Job Summary

Provides information systems planning and support of Utah Transit Authority (UTA)s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (JD Edwards) and systems/interfaces with the ERP system (e.g., WorkDay, SharePoint Online, Laserfiche, Trapeze EAM) for multiple UTA departments. Develops project plans and implements ERP and related system design changes, major ERP Integration Software, and upgrades to improve quality, usefulness, and efficiency. Performs project management activities associated with design and implementation of these systems and associated technologies. Works with peers within information technology (I.T.) to support development, implementation, maintenance, and integrity of data and processes within the ERP and other major systems. Manages systems in support of company and department objectives and other information needs, such as maintaining systems software and workflows, recommending and auditing application security, authorizing access and access flows, and writing standard/custom reports. Develops using Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop and implement applications. Assists JDE Developers in data quality reviews and provides recommendations as needed. Maintains confidential information in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Assists in designing/testing interfaces between systems as needed. Provides training on understanding functions and using the ERP system and related applications and systems.

This job is an in-person position located in Salt Lake City UTA FrontLines Headquarters. If you do not live in the Salt Lake City or surrounding area, this position would require you to relocate.*

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Educated in current technologies in data management or Business Systems administration and major ERP Integration Software systems administration preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years in ERP application support, technical operations, technical product support, and/or operations. Preferred experience in WorkDay, Laserfiche, SharePoint Online, or equivalent application certifications.
  • Must have a minimum of one-year development education and one year of professional development experience in the following areas: C#, MS Reporting Services (SSRS) report writing. Must have developed simple to moderately complex software programs, workflows, or integrations from customer specs to user sign-off.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: maintenance, supply chain, HRIS, accounting, etc. support information systems and system administration; specific ERP and major ERP Integration Software experience preferred, including Anvyl, FairMarkit, WorkDay, SharePoint Online or Laserfiche administration. Experience conducting workflow analysis, designing business systems, evaluating system changes and vendor management/package selection.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience with WorkDay, Sharepoint Online, or Laserfiche preferred

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Current report writing tools and business intelligence software and methodologies.

SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint at the intermediate level.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.

ABILITIES:

  • Manage time, meet scheduled due dates, and track the status of projects.
  • Work within a team and/or independently.
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently.

Pay Rate: Starting at $89,000 - 107,000 based upon experience
