JOB OBJECTIVES :

The Associate Creative Director plays a pivotal role in bridging the creative and sales functions of the company by curating unique, compelling client experiences that drive business growth. This position combines creative strategy, innovative thinking, and hands-on execution to develop bespoke proposals and presentations that align with client needs and enhance the sales process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Collaborates with the Director of Sales to design custom, experiential solutions for prospective and existing clients.

· Leads the creative development of client proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral that showcase the value of the company’s services.

· Curates immersive experiences that highlight the unique attributes of destinations and inspire client engagement.

· Works closely and collaboratively with the operations team to ensure feasibility and seamless execution of creative concepts.

· Conducts research on client industries, preferences, and trends to tailor creative strategies effectively.

· Maintains strong relationships with vendors and creative partners to bring unique concepts to life.

· Presents creative ideas and concepts to clients with confidence and clarity, ensuring alignment with their goals and vision.

· Supports the Director of Sales in identifying new opportunities and strategies to enhance client acquisition and retention.

· Monitors the effectiveness of creative proposals in driving sales, adapting strategies as needed.

· Ensures that all creative projects align with JRDM’s brand and goals.

· Maintains a complete understanding of JRDM’s pricing and service offerings.

· Demonstrates the ability to carry on a professional, productive conversation with prospective clients, business owners, and decision-makers.

· Attends company trainings, staff meetings, networking functions, and client meetings as needed.

· Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in a creative role, ideally with a focus on client engagement in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industries.

· Experience working with sales teams to develop compelling, client-focused presentations.

· Knowledge of destination management, event planning, and local market trends.

· Strong creative portfolio showcasing relevant work.

· Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.

· Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote).

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced computing skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding people skills; ability to work with a variety of personality types.
  • Highly motivated self-starter; comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a diverse team of professionals. 
  • Fast learner who can quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of company’s products and services.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The physical work environment for this role requires the employee to work both inside and outside with the potential for exposure to heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
  • Employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds in the course of performing this role.
  • Employee may be required to work weekends, nights, and be on-call as a regular part of the job.
  • This role requires driving locally in the employee’s personal vehicle and the employee must maintain up-to-date licensure and registration.
