Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter for a nationwide traveling position . This person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems on refrigeration projects throughout the United States. Advancement opportunities are available. Travel is required.

Expected Pay: $30-$35 depending on experience

Experience Required: Must have 5+ years experience in pipe fitting and an NCCER certification (preferred)

Per Diem: $65/night (double occupancy)

Lodging: Fully Paid

Travel: Fully Paid (Both ways)

Key Duties:

• Align, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems and related equipment, including pumps, valves, and refrigeration components.
• Perform precision cutting, threading, bending, and assembly of pipes using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and diagrams to determine work procedures.
• Collaborate with other trades such as electricians and welders to complete complex projects.
• Perform load rigging, torch cutting, and leveling with use of measurement tools.
• Operate grinder and wire wheel
• Other duties as needed on the job site.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter.
• Prefer NCCER Pipefitter certification
• Able to tack weld for the purpose of fitting pipe
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment.
• Extensive travel required (typical tour is 10 days from the Tuesday of 1st week to the Thursday of 2nd week - with 10-12 hour days).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, and be capable of driving up to 10 hours, able to operate industrial lifts.
• This position is a safety-sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing.
• The position requires pre-employment drug screening, criminal background screening, and driving record check. If you have had a DUI within the past 5 years you are not eligible for employment at this time.
