Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles. The co-op program assignments are two semesters in duration and are full-time hybrid internships. The summer and fall 2025 co-op is expected to begin on May 19, 2025 and end in December. Your Key Responsibilities: Co-ops will work full-time in Strategic Sourcing and interact with internal customers including category management, field operations, manufacturing, and technology. Work with procurement and ERP software to conduct bids for goods and services. Complete a Strategic Sourcing project by utilizing Halliburton’s 7-step strategic sourcing methodology. Support day-to-day needs including reporting, updating purchasing records, presentations to leadership, etc. What You’ll Bring to Our Team Required Qualifications: Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Students must be enrolled in the university’s co-op program and provide documentation of enrollment upon hiring. Co-ops last approximately 6-9 months and you must be willing to work a minimum of a 6-month duration. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge in MS Office Software. Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing. What We Offer… Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location. Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.
