Job DescriptionSoulCycle - in partnership with Equinox Media - is seeking a Social Media Community Manager who will bring to life the social channels for the SoulCycle At Home experience ( This role is primarily focused on growing the opportunity of the SoulCycle At Home brand across Instagram and TikTok. The right person for this job will recognize the opportunity that is currently untapped and will be excited about expanding the social footprint for the brand. This role can be remote as it will partner with the creative production team (based out of the studio in NYC), who will be creating most of the on-site content to be used for social posts. The Social Media Community Manager will partner with the creative team to strategize a robust and comprehensive social posting calendar across Instagram and TikTok. Additionally, it will be within this position's purview to write, edit, and manage outward facing communications across all social platforms. This is an open-ended and ongoing contracted project paying $1,000 per week for approximately 10-15 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities
Daily community management. Execute 2-3 checks across all platforms daily to interact with members and instructors.
Daily social posting on either Instagram or TikTok.
Partner with the NYC based creative team to identify opportunities for social content capture and support in storyboarding, scripting, and editing content to make it the most effective on respective social platforms.
Strategize on how to grow the channels (primarily TikTok as it is currently lower on engagement)
Maintain and develop opportunities of engagement and interaction with the community on all platforms.
When appropriate, work remotely with talent to instruct, gather footage, and post content for social channels.
When appropriate, support SoulCycle At Home instructors’ posting on their own channels about their experience as talent.
Identify and create benchmarks and goals for the social profiles.
Deliver brief weekly reports on performance across channels.
Work collaboratively in aligning At Home social channels with SoulCycle marketing and social initiatives and brand voice.
Respond to operational learnings and make suggestions on improvements of voice and presence across social channels.
Work on ongoing projects to help ensure the longevity and evolution of the project.
Experience building brands on social media platforms (preferably Instagram and TikTok).
Creative out of the box thinking to help expand the offering.
Interest or Familiarity with the SoulCycle brand and its brand POV.
Interest and ability to learn and adapt.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Personable and able to interact with Instructor Talent.
Pay Transparency: $1000 / Week
