Senior Thermal Engineer - Liquid Cooling Systems
Reading, MA - $120-140K + Bonus

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Thermal Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced liquid cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration technologies and a passion for creating innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in refrigeration applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and re-design refrigeration and liquid cooling systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis of said systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate existing solutions into larger systems.
Utilize PLM and MRP software (Oracle Cloud) for project management and documentation.
Select and implement temperature, pressure, and flow sensors for system monitoring.
Research and recommend the use of green refrigerants, including A2L Propane and CO2.
Create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks for refrigeration components and systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize mechanical liquid pumping systems to improve performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal engineering or similar.
Proficient in PLM and MRP software, specifically Oracle Cloud.
Strong knowledge of liquid cooling systems and green refrigerants.
Experience with temperature, pressure, and flow sensors in system design.
Skilled in SolidWorks for mechanical design and modeling.
Familiarity with mechanical liquid pumping systems and their applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
