We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our Accounting Department as a Senior Staff Accountant. Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience with Accounting software Sage Intacct
• Ability to learn quickly
• Proven general accounting experience.
• Mortgage Services Industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with upper management, external CPAs, and other Accounting Department members.
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and complete daily functions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates creativity, drive, and a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel (proficiency in VLOOKUP & pivot tables).
• Perform financial analysis and reporting.
• Respond to accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute accurate and timely financial reports.
• Conduct occasional bookkeeping tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the CFO, Director of Accounting, and other departments as required.
• Ability to work both independently (position located at Company HQ but managed remotely) and within a team environment.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

• Finance/Business Degree.
• 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA Firm experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports effectively.
• Willingness to work closely with senior management.
