Job Summary: As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to newborns who require intensive medical attention. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assessing the health of premature or ill infants, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, administering medications, and educating parents on neonatal care. About Our Unit Our Magic Valley NICU is an 18-bed unit that is rated as a level 3 NICU. We are part of the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and provide care for babies who are born premature (30 weeks and up) or with medical issues. Our neonatologists or neonatal nurse practitioners are on site 24/7. Our dedicated nurses also help to support our Pediatric and Mother Baby Units.Patient ratios: 1:3 (1:1 or 1:2 for high acuity)

Qualifications

  • Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing 
  • \n
  • Experience:1+ years of experience, 2+ years NICU experience stongly preferrred
  • \n
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • \n
