Job Summary:

We are a growing Oak Park based personal injury law firm looking for the perfect front desk representative. Our ideal candidate will be ebullient, clever, well-dressed and well-read, and innately understand the importance of timeliness and common courtesy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Day to day activities include but are not limited to: answering and directing incoming calls; greeting clients, guests, attorneys and employees; creating a positive and professional first impression on behalf of the firm; making visitors comfortable, offering hospitality; distributing voicemails; uploading and filing all incoming mail into the firm software; receiving deliveries and packages; creating client mailings; forwarding all incoming faxes; formatting our daily docket (sneak-peak of the next day); legal project as desired/needed.

• The front desk receptionist will be an important point of contact for all staff members. Daily interaction with all members of the team will be required, as will handling tasks as directed by both attorneys and paralegals. Our ideal candidate will have an interest in learning more about our area of practice in the legal field and be interested in expanding their role in the firm.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualifications for this position require 2+ years of previous reception or customer service experience. A four-year degree is required.

• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

• Basic skills required include administrative writing, proficiency in Microsoft 365, top notch organizational skills, above average proficiency in customer service, and wellhoned interpersonal skills.
