Job Description

We are an expanding mechanical contracting company providing services throughout the United States, looking for an adaptable team player to become a part of our business family in our Commercial Material/Parts Department.

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office Word and Excel and have experience in material/parts ordering, shipping, and coordinating for a high volume, fast paced environment.

The Parts & Purchasing Processor will be responsible for:

• Equipment rentals Set up.
• Research pricing and request quotes on orders from a variety of entities
• Write and submit proposals to customers for job approvals.
• Tracking orders and following up in database
• Ensure orders are updated and processed in a timely fashion.
• Extremely efficient phone and computer skills for inputting and communicating ordering data.
• Communicating, updating, and coordinating with technicians, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
• Manage and Process returns, warranty process and verify shipping/receiving.
• Interface with various departments

Qualifications and other abilities:

• Quick, accurate and efficient data entry typing skills a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Efficient follow through on daily responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
• Maintains positive working relationships.
• Possess good note taking skills.
• Billing and Excel experience can be helpful.
• Handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Sales and/or tooling experience
