Position Overview

A well-established heavy construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute large-scale infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy highway, bridge, marine, or structural steel construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and maintain project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Contract Management: Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, and change orders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Risk Management & Safety: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies, providing regular project updates.
• Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among superintendents, engineers, and field crews.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets contract specifications, industry standards, and company expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience in heavy construction, bridge, highway, marine, or structural steel projects .
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, contract administration, and construction methodologies .
• Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., P6, HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) .
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
