We are seeking candidates for Production Supervisor roles on the day and night shift. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is $54,080-$58,240 per year, depending on shift, skills, and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you’ll do as a Production Supervisor:

• Ensure that the new production line initiatives meet organizational objectives this will include changes to technology and systems, changes to business processes, and changes in organizational structure and job roles
• Develop procedures and SOPs on processes that affect warehousing and production
• Responsible for evaluating and continuous improvement of these processes
• Conduct training of production leads, dock coordinators, distribution clerks as well as inventory control procedures and ensures policies are being followed
• Responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of all supplies and products
• Recommend and initiate personnel actions of hourly employees with leads, such as hiring, performance evaluations (30-60-90), promotions, and disciplinary measures
• Assist with training and scheduling temporary staffing for assigned production shifts and/or special projects
• Assist and advise Director on warehouse and production schedule to ensure efficient use of warehouse and production personnel
• Examine and monitor production operations and warehouse operations, systems and facilities
• Act as liaison for production and warehouse processes for customer and vendor visits

What you need to become a Production Supervisor:

• 1+ years of experience in Warehousing/transportation is preferred, but not required
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Regular standing and sitting for extended periods of time
• Regular use of personal computer, writing, and filing required
• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
• Willingness to work in office setting and spend time in the production/warehouse environment
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors
