Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Overnight Shift)
Pay Rate: $27–$31/hour

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team for the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain a variety of material handling systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print-and-apply systems, scales, HMI systems, and control cabinets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair controller equipment (hardware and software) to ensure optimal performance.
• Report system changes and proposed improvements to Supervisors and Managers.
• Develop schematics and programming for system modifications or new project installations, including scheduling and material planning.
• Maintain and document motor control centers, power and light distribution, programmable controllers, and associated communication equipment (LAN, IDT, RS-View systems).
• Train maintenance personnel on electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs, IDT, RS-View, and electronic scales.
• Create and manage programs to generate operational history and statistical reports for system improvements.
• Conduct and document preventative maintenance for all electrical and electronic equipment.
• Provide technical support to Supervisors and assist in problem resolution.
• Communicate technical issues and updates to Facilities and Operations Management.
• Collaborate with vendors and consultants to ensure system compatibility and reliability.
• Provide technical support for company-wide standby generators as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities and system updates.
• Ensure all equipment remains in excellent condition, adhering to safety and company policies.
• Promote safety awareness and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience maintaining industrial electrical systems, including 480 VAC 3 PH, 110 VAC, 24VDC systems, robotics, HMI components, and AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLCs. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and logic diagrams.
• Education: An Associate’s degree in electronic technology or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company-specific software such as Rockwell/Allen Bradley. Familiarity with programmable load centers and electrical measuring equipment.
• Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to write reports and effectively present information.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in algebra, geometry, and other mathematical concepts.
• Reasoning Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret instructions in various formats.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Regular lifting and moving of objects up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must have good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral) and depth perception.

Schedule:

• Overnight shift. 6pm to 6am (12 hours)

Compensation:

• Competitive pay ranging from $27–$31/hour based on experience and qualifications.
