Job Description

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is currently seeking a Part-Time board-certified faculty OB Hospitalist to join our established team in St. Louis, Missouri . Our Mercy OB Hospitalist team consist of 7 physicians and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

Clinic duties would include :

• Attractive schedule with combination of 12-hour and 24- hour shifst!
• OB/GYN physician back-up
• No at-home call
• OB Triage managing and evaluating patients.
• Collaboratively provide oversight to the APP staff in the triage unit
• Providing obstetrical care for hospitalized patients and managing labor
• Performing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetrical procedures
• Assisting with cesarean sections
• Managing gynecologic patients in an inpatient setting
• Resident supervision

• Over 9,000 babies delivered annually - and growing!
• OB/GYN Residency (ACGME accredited) training program.
• Mercy Birthplace , a warm, comfortable environment with options like whirlpool tubs and low-intervention birth suites
• A low-risk pregnancy Midwifery Birthing Center for a natural childbirth experience
• Level III NICU , offering the most advanced neonatal care in St. Louis County
• Nationally recognized care for high-risk pregnancies at our Maternal and Fetal Health Center
