Highly successful radiology team in Tyler, Texas is seeking a physician assistant to join their team! Enjoy an excellent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or on call duties and perform many hands-on procedures, all while working alongside a team of fellowship-trained radiologists and excellent clinic support staff.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in radiology or other related fields such as critical care or surgery. The practice is also willing to train an outstanding new graduate candidate who has local ties to Tyler and strong procedural skills.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday schedule
• No weekends, no nights, no on call duties
• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as lumbar punctures, myelograms, VP shuntograms, subcutaneous fluid aspiration procedures
• Pre-op and post-op patient care in hospital and outpatient clinic settings

Qualifications:

• Texas Physician Assistant License (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in radiology or other related field such as critical care or surgery
• Ability to build strong rapport with patients and hospital staff
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
