Kendall Hunt Publishing Higher Education department is looking for an enthusiastic
Marketing Media Specialist to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas and assistance to help achieve our goals. The Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating, designing, and producing various multimedia content to support internal and external marketing efforts. Provides a creative mindset with design, video production, and other digital media. Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, creating multimedia content, and analyzing campaign performance to drive brand awareness and engagement as well as contributes to the marketing team's strategy to increase lead generation. This position will work in the home office in Dubuque, Iowa. Salary commensurate with experience.

In A Typical Work Week as a Marketing Media Specialist, You Will... - Works with the marketing team to conceptualize marketing materials for all disciplines within HE.
- Assist in creating engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Design graphics, write captions, and produce short videos tailored to each platform.
- Creates sales support materials, catalogs, ads and other marketing materials, as needed in either print and/or digital format.
- Works with marketing team and event manager to prepare and oversee tradeshow materials, including signage.
- Stay updated with the latest industry news and competitor activities.
Characteristics of Who Kendall Hunt Looks for in a Marketing Media Specialist, You are... - Someone who has an intermediate understanding of design and print collateral.
- Someone who is proficient in using various technologies (computers, tablets, cell phones, social media apps) with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Should have proficient and applied knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software. Familiarity with both PC and Macintosh environments as well as knowledge with Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Someone who can identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Assists with budget preparation and adheres to annual budget.
- Someone who has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
- Someone who has a Positive and have a "can do" attitude towards their work, and their outlook on life.
- Available to work out of our Dubuque, Iowa home office - this is not a remote position
