The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler (MP/S) is responsible for the daily planning and scheduling/prioritizing of work assignments for plant maintenance operations according to established procedures

What You Will Do:

  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize work orders in a timely manner to support manufacturing and warehousing operations.
  • Prepare parts, tools and materials for maintenance technicians to perform work successfully.
  • Coordinates with Reliability Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to dispatch maintenance personnel and allocate resources to manage multiple tasks.
  • Track maintenance performance measures and trends and produce reports thereof.
  • Work with Maintenance Manager and Supervisors implement time and cost saving strategies utilizing TPM tools.
  • Coordinates 5S activities in the Maintenance shop.
  • Ensure all pertinent data related to PM/CM activities is correct and documented.
  • Oversee and execute parts management of the storeroom
  • Complete work as assigned to ensure efficient, cost effective and timely repairs to production equipment and manage assigned inventory to acceptable levels.

Position Details:

  • Plant location: Martinsburg, WV
  • Work week and shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 5:30am -2:00pm
  • Compensation package offered: $37.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment 
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capable of learning and implementing the functions of CMMS program and its related
  • systems.
  • The ability to develop new maintenance standard operating procedures based on manufacturers recommendations
  • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, boiler operations, carpentry.
  • Advanced applications to Fabrication and Machining and HVAC repairs and CFC certification.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding and practice of electrical, electronic and/or mechanical procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding and practice of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronic instrumentation and control devices.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$37.00 / hour Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
