We offer the opportunity to work with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in patient care across San Antonio's leading hospitals and imaging centers.Key Responsibilities:Procedural Work:GI fluoroscopyUltrasound-guided procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis)Fluoroscopy-guided procedures (lumbar punctures, joint injections)Vascular access and central line placementsCT-guided bone marrow biopsiesPatient Care:Manage patient consultations, procedures, and follow-up careCoordinate with referring physicians and healthcare teamsProvide patient education and procedure-specific careRequired QualificationsGraduate of accredited PA program with a Texas licenseBLS and ACLS certificationStrong procedural skills and clinical judgmentExcellent communication abilitiesPreferred: Experience in interventional radiology or diagnostic imagingExperience PathwaysExperienced Track:Direct Entry for candidates with IR/imaging backgroundIndependent practice after orientationDevelopment Track:Structured training program combining didactic education and hands-on experienceProgressive responsibility as competency developsIdeal for PAs with strong procedural background seeking IR specializationCompetitive Compensation PackageMonday - Friday scheduleCompetitive base salaryComprehensive health benefitsRetirement plan with employer contribution16 days Paid Time Off/yearCME allowanceCareer advancement opportunities South Texas Radiology Group
