About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim Executive Director to serve as the chief executive officer, providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, ensuring the fulfillment of its mission, the sustainability of its operations, and the achievement of its goals. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans, leading and inspiring staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, and serving as the primary spokesperson for the organization. The Executive Director will also collaborate with the Board of Directors, oversee fundraising and financial management, and ensure that programs and services meet the needs of the community. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years of senior management experience in a nonprofit organization or a related field. The role requires a proven track record in fundraising, strong financial management skills, and excellent organizational and project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to think strategically and creatively, and a passion for the organization's mission. Working conditions may include part-time hours initially, with the potential to grow to a full-time position, and occasional evening, weekend, and travel requirements.
