Blanchard Valley Health System welcomes you to be part of our dedicated team serving patients in Northwest & Central Ohio. We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to help us serve 1,200+ new patients per year.

Job Description:

  • Armes Family Cancer Care Center, a fully comprehensive CoC accredited, stand-alone, regional cancer center, is undergoing a complete renovation which includes expansion of our onsite lab and pharmacy, addition of (9) new state-of-the art exam rooms, (8) infusion bays, as well as linear accelerator upgrades and replacement of our CT Simulator.
  • Traditional Schedule: Clinic 4 days/week, 1 administrative day/week (remote) + 1:4 inpatient call OR Alternative Schedule: 3-12's, week on/off, etc. + inpatient call will be considered
  • 50% Hematology/50% Oncology patient mix, most common cases are breast, colon, lung, prostate
  • Care team model, 1 dedicated RN and 1 MA per physician, 2 NPs
  • Chemo certified RNs for inpatient chemotherapy administration

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Hematology
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology
  • OH license (or willing to obtain)
