About Ruffoni

Since 1962, Ruffoni has been manufacturing copper pots and pans to the highest quality standards in its family-run workshop in the Italian Alps - and distributing them worldwide through a select network of high-end retailers (Williams-Sonoma, Harrods, La Rinascente...). Five years ago, we started communicating directly with our consumers by launching our Social Media channels and direct-to-consumer website in the US.

Over this time, we have established a small but very loyal following. Our core values as both marketers and manufacturers are demonstrated by our high rate of organic engagement across Social and email channels, and over 3000 5-star reviews on our website. We engage with our consumers in an honest, authentic. and relatable way, and provide them with a high-quality, unique product, Made in Italy in a traditional artisanal way, that delights users and becomes a treasured family heirloom over time.

However, for many of our ideal customers, Ruffoni continues to be a well-kept secret. Your mission is to make us less of a secret, by identifying and reaching those people who would love to bring Ruffoni into their homes, if they knew it existed.

Your role as the Growth Manager

You will be part of a small, diverse, geographically distributed team, working efficiently and creatively to grow Ruffoni's brand awareness and adoption, both in the US and select global markets.

Approximately half of your time will be spent designing, executing, and optimizing customer acquisition tactics through established Paid Customer Acquisition channels:

  • Co-ideate Ruffoni's D2C strategy including promotional calendar and digital campaign themes, targets, and objectives
  • Coordinate and oversee digital asset creation to enable successful campaign execution
  • Design, set up, monitor, optimize, and report performance on Meta Ads
  • Design, set up, monitor, optimize, and report performance on Google Ads
  • Design, set up, monitor, optimize, and report performance on Affiliate Marketing (through Impact, Shopify Collabs, and/or others)

The remainder of your time is for you to allocate. As a self-starter, you will feel invested in the Ruffoni brand and take personal responsibility for its growth and financial performance. You will identify areas of growth opportunity for Ruffoni that also overlap with your personal skill sets, experience and passions, and work collaboratively with other team members to deliver additional top-of-the-funnel growth. Possible ideas include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage presence on additional Social channels (e.g. TikTok)
  • PR (develop relationships, write press releases, submit product for consideration in reviews and prizes, etc.)
  • Organize in-person events, whether aimed at consumers, retailers, influencers, and/or press
  • Deploy existing B2C digital tactics to B2B targets

Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Must be a strategic thinker, self-starter, growth-minded, comfortable multitasking and problem-solving and results-oriented
  • Must have at least 1 year hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
    • Google Ads campaigns set-up, monitoring, reporting, and optimization
    • Meta Ads campaigns set-up, monitoring, reporting, and optimization
    • Influencer Marketing set-up, monitoring, reporting, and optimization (on Impact or similar platform)
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication in English
  • Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent in Italian, written and spoken preferred
  • Passionate about food, cooking, and interior design
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with (micro) influencers
  • Experience with ShopifyPlus e-commerce stores
  • Experience managing business Social Media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid work schedule from our Vallejo office)
