About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel - Americas to provide a wide range of legal services to its Americas Division, which spans eight countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the negotiation of customer and supplier contracts, formation and counseling related to strategic alliances, litigation management, corporate governance, regulatory issues, and general corporate legal matters. This role demands a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in commercial and corporate transactions, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes. The General Counsel - Americas will also support the company's General Counsel on certain corporate-level matters. Applicants for the General Counsel - Americas position should have a minimum of 12 years' legal experience, with a focus on commercial and corporate law, and in-house counsel experience. A background in a mid-to-large size law firm is strongly preferred, and experience in the manufacturing industry and with international transactions is a plus. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in legal practice, particularly in the areas of negotiation, strategic alliances, and corporate governance. The General Counsel - Americas will be a key member of the legal team, providing strategic legal advice and support to the business in the Americas region.
