Commercial Construction Flooring Installers

We are looking for highly motivated, detailed oriented people to add to our team. CSM TILE has maintained steady growth each year for the past 10 years. Pay scale is dependent on skill set.

Requirements for Installers

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, 60+
• Working from a kneeling, crouching or bent over position frequently
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable
• Positive Attitude
• Own basic tools
• Own transportation
• Good customer service/manners
• Ability to work with other installers as needed
• Prep walls and floors for tiling or other finishes
• Grout tile (cement and epoxy based)
• Know how to layout floors and walls
• Willingness to learn about products and equipment that we use
• Install per manufacturer, specification, drawings & as directed
• Willingness to use/learn technology & programs (Procore)
• Have knowledge & experience installing at least one of the following: Tile, Stone, Resilient, Carpet, Terrazzo, Polished/Stained Concrete, Brick, etc.

Job Type : Full-time

Installer Hourly Rate :

• $27.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on your knowledge/experience at time of hire.

Schedule :

• Monday-Friday typically standard 8-hour shift, but months of June-September may require 9- or 10-hour days.
• Overtime as needed
• Saturdays are typically only needed in the months of June-September

Experience :

• Installers = 1-2 years

License/Certification :

• Drivers License (Required)
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification (if you do not have this you will need this prior to starting. It is an easy 10-hour online course you can take at your own pace).

Willingness to travel :

• For construction you will be required to travel sometimes. The majority of our work will be local. But there are times where we may work North, South, East and/or West within New York State.
• Hotels are paid for by us
• You will receive mileage reimbursement and per-diem when out of town

Work Location : Multiple locations throughout NYS wherever you are assigned to.
