Vibe Talent is excited to partner with a leading Investments / Venture Capital firm in Stamford, CT, seeking a dynamic Finance (FP&A) Manager to join their team. This firm specializes in investing in high-growth investments providing not only capital but also strategic guidance to their portfolio companies.

Role Overview:

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, and extensive financial modeling to support investment decisions and the firm's financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital finance, with exceptional proficiency in Excel-based modeling and a deep understanding of financial forecasting, valuation, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze firm performance, fund-level returns, and portfolio company valuations.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including scenario planning, cash flow forecasting, and capital allocation strategy.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing investor presentations, fund performance reports, and economic analyses.
• Lead financial reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in due diligence efforts for new investments, providing insights on financial trends, KPIs, and market benchmarks.
• Collaborate with investment and operations teams to optimize financial planning and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor fund-level performance, track capital calls and distributions, and support limited partner (LP) communications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in investment banking (M&A, capital markets, or financial sponsors), private equity, or a venture capital finance role.
• Exceptional Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, fund structures, and venture capital economics.
• Experience with FP&A, forecasting, and corporate finance strategy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with fund accounting, portfolio management software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
