About the Role
Full time and Part Time Options available!
Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm for full time, or 20 hours per week for part time. We don’t work weekends!
As a member of our street fundraising team, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to generate support for our organization's critical initiatives. You will have the opportunity to:
Engage with the public: Share information about our mission and inspire others to contribute to meaningful change.
Build relationships: Connect with individuals from all walks of life and encourage them to support our cause.
Achieve goals: Work collaboratively with a team of dynamic and motivated fundraisers to meet and exceed campaign targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Approach and engage potential donors in various locations across Ottawa
- Clearly communicate the mission and objectives of our organization
- Inspire individuals to make regular donations
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Accurately record donor information and contributions

Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for our cause
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Commitment to meeting fundraising targets
- Previous fundraising or sales experience is an asset but not required
