Job Summary: Responsible for successful maintenance of patient records and organizational and administrative operation of the Health Information Management Department. Education/Regulatory Requirements & Experience: • Degree as a Registered Record Administrator or Accredited Record Technician. • Five years of previous hospital experience in all aspects of Health Information Management functions. • Previous supervisory experience preferred. • Knowledge of accreditation and state regulations for both acute and skilled nursing facilities. • Ability to work with physicians and hospital staff in a collaborative manner. • Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required.
