This is the life of a  Direct Support Professional at Hattie Larlham . Aside from providing personal care to your clients, you will be involved in making their lives more enjoyable and rewarding. Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support individuals with disabilities. The people that carry out this rewarding, caregiving support play an integral and crucial role in the success of our organization. We are seeking candidates that possess the compassion required for this very important position.

• Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Part-time opportunities are available on all shifts! Limited full-time openings.
• Locations: Hiring Now in Cuyahoga Falls, Macedonia, Copley, Clinton, Silver Lake, Akron, Tallmadge, and Twinsburg.
• STNAs are welcome to apply!

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ohio Driver's License

Duties: 

• Help with everyday living skills such as bathing, getting dressed, eating, and attending activities and medical appointments.
• Document accomplishments and attend meetings and trainings regarding persons served.
• Maintain contact with family members and provide updates of their loved ones.
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals and work together as a team.
• Know that reliability, punctuality and commitment to this job are very important in providing the best care to our persons served.
