ConGlobal is looking to hire an experienced Depot Manager for our new location in Shafter, CA. If you have experience in Intermodal, Supply Chain, or Logistics, we want to talk to you!

The Depot Operations Manager is responsible the day to day as it relates to safety and efficient operations ie: to plan, direct and coordinate activities related to inspection, repair, maintenance, and storage of equipment (containers, chassis, refrigerated containers, gensets, etc.), and equipment sales. The Depot Operations Manager will assist in developing and leading a highly effective team which is responsible to provide excellent service to internal and external Customers.

In this role you will oversee the Depot location in Shafter, CA.

Railyard Terminal Manager

• Leads terminal to ensure KPIs are met, train performance including: Lifts per Hour & Cost per Hour, etc.
• This position is a "Working Manager" role that would require you to workout doors and stand for long periods at a time.
• Accountable for overall P&L responsibilities
• Develops and drives existing staff to enhance engagement & retention within the Depot
• Builds collaborative partnerships between ConGlobal and local railroad officers
• Acts as key point of contact between ConGlobal and our customers
• Enforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policies
• Approaches violations with care and administers disciplinary actions when required
• Monitors and approves terminal purchases for payment & manages purchases within budget
• Approves weekly time & attendance and ensures data is accurate and timely
• Partners with talent acquisition to ensure the terminal is fully staffed
• Owns the training and orientation process of all employees to ensure their ongoing success
• Provides Depot metrics & reports as needed
• Other duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years Intermodal, transportation, logistics or supply chain management experience
• 5+ years leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience
• Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory
• Proficient in outlook and MS office suite of products
• Possess strong work ethic
• Open availability required (shifts, weekends, & holiday)
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
