A key member of the business unit management team, this position is the focal point for financial planning and analysis, accounting and profit and loss statement control. This position is a direct extension of the CFO's office, thus assumes the responsibility of the integrity of business financial reporting and internal control. Position reports to the CFO.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Coordinate with Division Financial Accounting month, quarter and year end close and financial reporting. Assure adherence to US GAAP and corporate accounting policy.

2. Coordinate activities with external auditors to assure timely and review of financial data.

3. Coordinate the development and analysis of short and long range business plans including the annual budget and the five year plan.

4. Support financial reporting and analysis of on-going business activities. This includes reporting and evaluating performance against plan and providing reporting and visibility of critical issues on a proactive basis.

5. Review and implement accounting processes to streamline the closing cycle.

6. Coordinates the accurate accumulation of actual verses projected cost analysis.

7. Coordinates the development and maintenance of ERP and Financial Reporting systems.

8. Supervise, direct and mentor six direct reports.

Required Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA and/or MBA highly desired.

2. Experience with Big 4 and National CPA firm preferred.

3. Seven or more years of successful financial experience with large to mid-size institutions.
4. Five years of financial management experience.
5. Must possess a thorough knowledge of financial accounting, financial reporting, as well as analytical acumen.

6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

7. Supervisory/Managerial experience
