Pay Range: $90-110k/yr

SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Manager will support our Senior Project Managers with large AV integration projects in the Greater Boston Area. This position primarily involves working on-site, maintaining punch lists, coordinating with general contractors, and keeping projects organized under the direction of the Senior Project Manager. Travel to project sites and the Wilmington, MA office is required. The ideal candidate excels at communication, has experience in commercial construction, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

TASKS

The following responsibilities are essential to the Temporary Assistant Project Manager role. Initial training and guidance will be provided where needed:

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities at Cambridge job sites and liaise with the onsite general contractor
• Attend and participate in weekly project meetings, provide detailed updates to the internal teams
• Maintain and update punch lists, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Assist in scheduling and prioritizing tasks alongside the Senior Project Manager
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and changes effectively to all stakeholders
• Organize and maintain documentation on project scope, schedules, and deliverables
• Proactively identify potential issues and escalate them to the Senior Project Manager for rapid resolution
• Support overall project efficiency by working with internal departments (engineering, service, etc.) as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Commercial construction or AV integration experience preferred
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings & electrical wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with project management principles, documentation, and coordination a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for daily travel
