About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the revenue generation strategy for one of its portfolio businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's scale and revenue growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions. This role demands a passionate and committed leader with a strong background in SaaS, particularly in the areas of compliance and traceability solutions, and experience in selling into enterprise organizations, including those in CPG, food/beverage, supply chain, manufacturing, and retail sectors. The CRO will be expected to leverage the business's unique solutions, and lead targeted cross-selling initiatives within the existing customer base. Global and regulatory expansion are also key focus areas, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas, with a tenure of 20-35+ years of progressive career success. The candidate should be a top sales leader of a $30mm-$75mm SaaS company or a senior sales executive within a larger enterprise with a significant revenue responsibility. A background heavily biased towards enterprise SaaS sales, experience in the private equity sector, and a strong M&A track record are highly preferred. The role requires a leader who can balance honoring the company's history with driving it into the future, and the ability to work closely with the executive team to execute the investment thesis. The CRO will play a critical role in the company's growth and should be prepared to take on a challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
