Install doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, and other finishing elements in residential structures. Perform repairs or alterations to existing structures, including removing structures and rebuilding new ones. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine specific requirements. Skills Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, framing, and building materials. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and dexterity. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
