Selectek is looking for a BIM Modeler to begin working with a great client of ours in Taylor, TX immediately. This candidate will be responsible for creating modeling content to support both project delivery and standards. This role involves producing materials for the company's VDC team to use in various applications, such as construction sequence planning, proposals, shop drawings, spooling, pre-assembly and pre-fabrication tasks, safety orientations, and task planning. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Requirements Five years of experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry, or a similar role in a relevant manufacturing sector, with a focus on production modeling and detailing using 3D models. One year of experience in electrical work (such as routing conduit, installing hangers, uni strut racks, and mounting) or in the virtual design construction industry, or similar experience in a manufacturing field (mechanical or plumbing), with an emphasis on production modeling and detailing using 3D models. Advanced proficiency with Revit. Practical knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
