Dual Language Special Education Teacher FullTime Openings for Current Academic School Year!

This role focuses on supporting students with a variety of learning mental emotional and physical disabilities in a school setting. As a bilingual Special Education Teacher you will create and deliver lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of your students helping them grow and reach their full potential.

Key Duties Overview:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address both academic and language development goals.
  
• Work closely with fellow teachers parents and specialists to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  
• Participate in IEP meetings providing valuable input and progress updates and making adjustments as needed to best support student growth.
  
• Continuously track and document student progress adjusting instructional plans to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  
• Use compassionate and effective classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior and mutual respect.
  

Requirements

• Illinois LBS1 K12 Certification
  
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
  
• Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related degree
  
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
  
• Experience working with children with a wide range of varying abilities
