Van Metre is seeking a 3D Artist Intern for Summer 2025 ! This is a hybrid internship position only requiring someone to come into the office on a need basis. Summary/Objective: The 3 D Artist intern will assist in building 3D renderings, lighting, textures, etc. in regard to floorplans and Build Your Own Home application. They will be directly involved with various departments such as Architecture and Sales/Marketing/Design Centre under the supervision of senior and Lead 3D Artist in job assignments. Essential Functions: Collaborate with senior designers and developers to create simulations and final projects Use software, lighting, and rendering to create textures and virtual effects Create and sculpt digital models, including video editing, 3D modeling, and animation Work under Lead 3D and senior 3D Artists' supervision in determining priorities Develop rapport with stakeholders and business continuation Competencies 3D Rendering 3D Animation Graphic Design Adobe Suites Autodesk 3ds Max Unreal Engine Team Oriented Communication Interpersonal Skills Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field Experience in 3D renderings & modeling Experience in Unreal Engine Excellent verbal communication skills Good problem-solving skills Attention to detail Team-oriented Strong organizational and project management skills Telerik plug-in knowledge is a plus Van Metre's Summer 2025 Internship Program is an 8-week program in which Interns get the opportunity to hone the skills in their field but also learn about our business. The Program starts the first week in June 2025 and runs through early August. Interns will attend trainings and planned sessions with Executives from every team, learning about every aspect of a product, from inception to completion, sale, and management. The goal is to assist in your quest to become a well-rounded individual, just like our company is!
